Meet the Team: Sarah E. Maston, PE, BCxP, LEED AP, Geographic Discipline Leader – Commissioning & Energy Services
Meet Sarah E. Maston, Geographic Discipline Leader for Commissioning & Energy Services at Colliers Project Leaders, currently supporting clients across the Northeast and the Carolinas. Sarah also serves as ASHRAE’s Society President for the 2026–27 term.
A licensed professional engineer and mechanical engineering specialist, Sarah brings more than 25 years of experience in the design and commissioning of HVAC systems and equipment to her work. She has been part of the Colliers Project Leaders team since 2021. Prior to that, she owned Green Footprints Commissioning, Inc., gaining a deep, firsthand understanding of what it takes to deliver high-performing buildings from concept through occupancy.
Sarah is one of the most recognized voices in her field. An active ASHRAE member for over 25 years, she has held numerous leadership roles, including: Building Commissioning Technical Committee Chair, Vice President, Technology Council Chair, and is a recipient of ASHRAE’s Distinguished Service and Exceptional Service Awards.
For Sarah, the most rewarding part of commissioning is the people and the problem‑solving. She is known for building strong team relationships so that when challenges arise, issues get resolved quickly and collaboratively — keeping projects on budget and on schedule.
