Commissioning of the $98 Million, 135,000 gsf, School of Visual & Performing Arts.
Colliers Project Leaders served as commissioning agent during the construction of the new $98 Million School of Visual and Performing Arts. The 135,000 square foot School of Visual and Performing Arts features a 350-seat concert hall, a 350-seat theater, an art gallery, a recording studio, as well as state-of-the-art rehearsal, classroom, and studio arts facilities.
In our role as commissioning agent for this LEED project, we provided commissioning services from the design phase through post construction. Systems commissioned included all air handling units and associated heating and cooling coils, humidifiers, exhaust fans, return fans, VAV terminal units, boiler, heat exchangers, chilled water system, hot water heating system, computer room air conditioning and associated split system condensers, building automation and interface systems, DDC and system interlocks, emergency generator, lighting control system, fire alarm system, security camera system, and telecommunications systems.
