Bringing to life a new standard for outpatient healthcare centers in New England
Mass General Brigham worked with the design team and Colliers to create a template for future outpatient healthcare centers based on size and clinical services. The Salem medical office building is the first project realized representing the Large Prototype with a 29-room medical office building with Physical Therapy, Audiology, Ophthalmology, an Imaging Suite with Ultrasound, CT, X-Ray, Mammography, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms and Pharmacy support.
Colliers worked with the Executive Committee to closely track the project budget and schedule and ensure the standardized design modules were incorporated within the design. Colliers implemented lean design and construction methods throughout the design and construction process.
Colliers provided development and project management services including, but not limited to:
- Coordination of clinical/support and design meetings
- Onboarding and coordination of medical equipment, signage, artwork, and furniture consultants
- Medical equipment coordination with clinical team and vendors
- Regulatory approvals submissions for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services
- Coordination of an off-site warehouse
- Onsite overview of furniture and equipment installation
- Coordination of construction activities
