Ground up retail in NYC.
Madison Capital engaged Colliers Project Leaders for project management services for the 19 East Houston ground up, retail project consisting of 6-stories and 40,000 gsf. This was the first ground up project for Madison Capital.
This unique triangular building sits over a Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) fan plant which provided the additional challenge of working with the unique shape, working around the MTA plant, and managing the tight logistics of the site, along with the neighboring building leaning over the property line. Colliers confronted these challenges by coordinating the open issues with the MTA and staging deliveries for the site, while bracing the neighboring building during the support of excavation (SOE) phase.
