The first phase of infrastructure development for the state of Arizona’s largest master planned community of up to 100,000 homes, consisted of the construction of a new potable water system in the desert outskirts of the Phoenix metropolitan region.
Our scope included project management services for construction of a new water campus with a 3.2 MG concrete potable water storage tank, pump station, water treatment, and electrical controls and instrumentation; as well as equipping two well sites to supply potable water.
Construction project management services include, but are not limited to:
- Produced Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and solicitation, managed selection panel and Contract Award process
- Submittal/RFI/Field Directive review and response
- Conduct weekly Progress Meetings between client/contractor/water city
- Field observations and weekly reporting
- Special Inspections to satisfy City Building Permit requirements
- Maintained Project Schedule; with monthly reviews to Client
- Project accounting and invoice approvals
- Review and approval of Use of Contingency requests
- Document controls for the ultimate conveyance of the project to the water provider and associated Community Facilities District (CFD) reimbursement
