This section of 16-inch water main served to improve system looping and enhance available fire flow to the area of Miller Road and Durango Street to serve an industrial developer. The water main extended north along 247th Avenue, then west along Durango Street to the intersection of Yuma Road. Additionally, a PRV was installed at the Buckeye North site to allow supplemental water from the Buckeye North Water Distribution facility to be used in the event a large fire in the vicinity. The water main and PRV are now owned and operated by the City of Buckeye.

Pre-construction and construction services included cost estimates and value engineering review of construction documents, detailed schedule for the public procurement bid process and construction phase, preparing bid documents, managing the bid process, bid advertisement, bid tabulation spreadsheet, summary of project costs, notice of award to selected bidders, management of contract documents, field observations, construction reporting, detailed job cost budget with monthly updates, and summary of project costs, billing procedures, and cost control.
