Fusing Arts and Technology to Redefine Creative Learning
Colliers is providing project management services during the construction of Hackley School’s new Center for the Creative Arts and Technology. The new Center is anticipated to open in 2024 and will be located on the existing Performing Arts Center site, replacing it and completing the west end of the main quadrangle.
The new 50,000 square foot facility merges computer science with the visual and performing arts, creating a hub that will nurture imagination and innovation, offering unparalleled opportunities for student exploration and expression.
Featuring a 550-seat auditorium and a 100-seat black box theater, the Center will showcase the talents of Hackley’s student actors, artists, musicians, and technicians, serving as a collaborative platform across various disciplines. Equipped with instructional spaces, rehearsal rooms, practice rooms, scene shops, dressing rooms, and control rooms, the facility will cultivate creativity in diverse forms, enriching the visual and performing arts at Hackley.
Additionally, the Makerspace, studios, and adaptable computer science classrooms establish an ideal setting for comprehensive computer science education across disciplines, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The goal of the project is to create a space that allows for the interdisciplinary collaboration of the performing, visual, and digital arts.
