Net Zero Energy project on historic campus.
Colliers Project Leaders provided project management services for the Center for Development Economics (CDE) Residence Hall Project at Williams College. The residence hall has been designed to achieve Net Zero Energy certification.
The CDE is a two-story, 30-bed private room residence hall with a super-insulated envelope designed to rigorous Passive House standards, a sculptural roof that supports over 300 photovoltaic cells, and 10 geothermal wells to provide heating and cooling. This building houses the CDE Fellows who are enrolled in the Center for Development Economics master level program.
The residence hall provides living space for the Fellows, which is private and separate from the main Saint Anthony Hall building which houses the academic, social, dining, and administrative components of the program. Fellows Hall is the first Net Zero energy building at Williams College.
