Creating superior academic learning spaces.
Colliers Project Leaders provided project management and commissioning services for the comprehensive renovation and expansion of Central Connecticut State University’s (CCSU) Emma Hart Willard Hall and Frank J. DiLoreto Hall. The $63 Million project involved gutting and renovating the two, 50-year-old adjacent buildings and adding a 39,000 square foot addition connecting the two buildings on all four floors.
Both Willard and DiLoreto Halls received major upgrades during the construction, including 24 new classrooms, five instructional labs, 57 academic offices, and an atrium for use as common space. The new 143,000 square foot complex also houses the Carol A. Ammon College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. Technology upgrades, HVAC improvements, and an ADA accessible elevator were also installed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES
As project manager, Colliers was responsible for monitoring the construction process including schedule, budget, and construction quality. Colliers also provided oversight and management of the construction project closeout and served as the project representative for the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services.
COMMISSIONING SERVICES
