Colliers Project Leaders provided project management services during the $35 Million construction of the flagship Amistad High School which encompasses 80,000 square feet and includes instruction space, staff space, and assembly / cafeteria / gymnasium space as well as on-site parking and outdoor recreation amenities.

This multi-phased project is located upon the site of the former Martin Luther King School and included hazmat abatement and demolition. The project was funded with the aid of a construction grant from the Connecticut Office of School Construction Grants & Reviews.

Achievement First Amistad High is a high-performing college preparatory public charter school serving students from three middle schools across New Haven and Bridgeport.

We provided project management services during the pre-design/design phase, construction phase, and closeout phase of the Amistad High School Project.

In addition, our team provided project management and/or comprehensive planning services including space utilization analysis and evaluating prospective school sites for Achievement First including Bridgeport Elementary School, Oliver Hazard Perry School, Bridgeport Academy, the former St. John the Baptist School, Edmund W. Flynn School, and the former Walterville School.
