Kristopher Powell Joins Colliers Project Leaders USA to Lead Project Management Services in the Philadelphia Office

Colliers Project Leaders | USA, a division of Colliers Engineering & Design, is excited to announce the hiring of Kristopher Powell, AIA, NCARB, LEED-AP, as the leader of Project Management Services in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Mr. Powell has over 15 years of experience leading architecture, design, and project management projects in the greater Philadelphia market.

“With experience in both project management and architecture, Kristopher will be a dynamic leader at our new Philadelphia office,” said Marc Sklenka, Discipline Leader, Project Management. “We’re excited to welcome him to our team and look forward to seeing the office grow and expand under his vision and guidance.”

Mr. Powell has impressive experience having served many clients most recently as an owner’s representative, and prior to that, as a project architect. His previous clients include independent living, senior healthcare, educational, and religious facilities, including Christian Health in Wyckoff, NJ; Mann Center for the Performing Arts; Roman Catholic High School, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chestnut Hill, PA; the City of Philadelphia; the University of Pennsylvania; and Pennsylvania DGS.

Kris has led the efforts for many of these clients to develop comprehensive strategic facilities plans, managing the design process, overseeing project financials, construction team formation and management; contract negotiation; and day-to-day management of the full design, construction, and fit-out process.

Mr. Powell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed professional architect in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, a LEED Accredited Professional from the U.S. Green Building Council and accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He also holds an Adjunct Professor position at Thomas Jefferson University – East Falls College of Architecture and the Built Environment.
