NEW YORK, NY— May 22, 2019 — Colliers International Project Management is pleased to announce the recent project closeout of Dimension Data’s new office. Led by Senior Project Manager Richard Onde, the Colliers team delivered project management and owner’s representative services for the high-end, technology-forward workplace buildout of the 12,000-square-foot, 18th floor of One Penn Plaza.
The new Dimension Data office, designed by Gensler, is a modern, open space with high-end finishes and state-of-the-art technological capabilities, as well as a number of health and well-being features, including adjustable desks, shared employee spaces, natural tones, expansive views and abundant access to natural light. Colliers provided complete owner’s project management services from design to closeout, as well as helped to develop the project team, including the construction manager StructureTone, MEP firm Robert Derector Associates and all subcontractors.
“Colliers delivered a meticulous, disciplined and client-centric project plan on behalf of Dimension Data,” said Christi Saavedra, Senior Corporate Facilities Coordinator, Dimension Data. “With Richard and his team’s project leadership, we were able to achieve our vision of an employee-focused workplace that empowers our people and business to continue to grow and succeed.”
Colliers provided leadership on a complex and accelerated schedule in order to align Dimension’s move-in with the end of the company’s previous lease. Additionally, the Colliers team managed all furniture, fixtures and equipment services, including all low-voltage buildout requirements (e.g. data and security) and liquidation of Dimension’s previous space on the 16th floor of One Penn Plaza.
“We’re incredibly honored to have been chosen to lead the buildout of Dimension Data’s new Manhattan office space,” said David Horowitz, Regional Director, Colliers International Project Management. “Their team had a unique, forward-looking workplace plan and we are honored to have had the privilege to help them deliver it for their employees and their global business.”
