NEW YORK, NY – September 11, 2019 – Colliers Project Leaders | USA is pleased to announce that Eric Hahn, Senior Director, will be speaking at NAIOP’s Cultural Development event on Museum Design and Construction on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Gensler’s Manhattan office at 1700 Broadway. Hahn will be joined on the panel by other leading professional experts in the field of museum design and construction, including Brendan P. Weiden, Partner, Jaros, Baum & Bolles; Chuck Kneaves, Vice President, Project Management, Lehrer Cumming; and Michelle Neary, Architect and Associate, Gensler.

The panel will examine the process of planning, implementing and managing new construction, renovation and expansion projects for New York City’s major cultural institutions, as well as current trends related to building across a range of museum sizes, scales, budgets and scopes.

About Eric Hahn
Hahn has been involved in the construction industry for more than 25 years and has completed multiple concurrent capital improvement projects for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, including the recent redesign of the outdoor plaza that extends from 80th Street to 84th Street along Fifth Avenue. He is currently overseeing the structural upgrades of the European Painting Galleries and the reconstruction of the British Galleries. Additionally, he is working with the Frick Collection to expand and renovate this iconic museum as well as the Hispanic Society Museum and Library. His unique background as an owner, builder and designer has been of great value when working on complex projects with challenging site logistics, schedules and budgets.
