Enhancing safety and delivering capacity in Buckeye, AZ.
Phase 1 of the water campus expansion focused on enhancing the existing arsenic treatment system. Work included constructing a 200,000-gallon steel reclaim tank, a day tank booster pump station, recirculation pumps, sludge handling pumps and press, and installing an additional Pureflow arsenic treatment vessel. The project also involved drilling and equipping an offsite well and installing approximately 1,400 linear feet of 24-inch raw water transmission main.
Construction project management services included:
- Submittal/RFI/Field Directive review and response
- Conduct weekly Progress Meetings between client/contractor/water city
- Field observations and weekly reporting
- Special Inspections to satisfy City Building Permit requirements
- Maintained Project Schedule, with monthly reviews to Client
- Project accounting and invoice approvals
- Change Order review and negotiation
- Document controls for the ultimate conveyance of the project to the water provider
